Paths, in essence,

Paths, in essence, in their simplistic forms are singular lines starting from a defined point leading to another defined point. If a road starts from a point and ends in the same point, on two dimensions, it creates a circle. On any geographical representation of paths, there are strait lines as well as circles. Yet, for a line signifying a road, it should be doubled in parallel to the original line. In the duplication of two lines, a synthesis of the same gives birth to another visual meaning; while singular lines symbolizes a continuity with its relational nature -defined between A to B-, two parallel lines are ‘leading’ in a defined area between its two straight lines.

Although seemingly apart from each other, the concept of dead-ends are founded upon the physicality of two parallel lines defining a road. Yet, in a dead-end, there is a horizontal line crossing the two parallel lines, creating a paradoxical existence.

The road without leading to a place or a place where the road leads to;

A dead-end is a dilemma between these two definitions. Then,it is whether an ambiguous existent that acts out of its purpose -not providing the function of ‘directing from A to B’ where B also directs to another point or it is a place that can be called the destination because it is where is search or the road ends.
